Grades

A grade is used to determine the type of log product being produced and carted.

When dockets are being sent electronically, the fields need to be correct for Grade only, Length, Species, and classification.  It is very important to be consistent with grade setup and naming conventions eg 3.94m cut grade vs 3.8m export length.

A suggested convention looks like species, grade eg A, length eg 3.9m ie R A 3.94m

You can search for specific grades by using the “Name” box.
You can edit/update grade information by clicking on the required grade.

If dockets are sent electronically then the fields need to be correct for Grade only, Length, Species & Classification

To create a new grade.
1. Click New Grade.
2. Add grade information.

3. Click Create to save the new grade.
(An ID will automatically be generated for the new grade.)
